Celebrate Mother’s Day with Love: A Special Event for Moms
Mother’s Day is more than a holiday—it’s a celebration of the love, strength, and wisdom that moms and grandmoms pour into their families every day.
This year, the Love Box Foundation will honor homeless moms with a heartfelt gathering designed to honor, uplift, and celebrate them. We're partnering with the Women of Community Impact who will provide a special meal, activities and love to honor the Moms at Home of Hope.
The Moms and children will write love notes to each other and read them out loud. They'll each receive a special gift bag filled with a heart flower, blank love notes and candy. They'll get to blend the power of handwritten love letters with the magic of a Love Box, creating a keepsake that captures the essence of the love you give and receive
Recently we met a Mom with her 2 boys at a festival. She did this at Home of Hope with her children years ago. She told us how much it meant to her and her boys to express their love and they do the tradition every year. She said the Love Box experience gave her hope and her family was closer because of it. The Mom still has love notes in her wallet and her boys have them in their Original Love Box.
