Boundaries from the Inside Out: A Course for Youth, Parents & Educators

Thurs., April 17th, 6-7:30 pm

Do you want to create healthy boundaries while fostering strong, loving relationships? Through engaging activities and discussions, participants will learn to understand emotions, express feelings with loving words, and set personal boundaries with confidence and kindness. You can put Boundaries in place being diplomatic and not being mean. You'll walk away with tools and tips that you can commit too so that your boundaries can work.

 Course Topics:

* Understanding the emotions you'll feel when creating boundaries and upkeeping them. (Hint: Perhaps guilt, hesitation and ultimately relief.)

* Recognizing and managing feelings in a healthy way

* Using Loving Words

* Communicating with kindness, clarity, and respect

* Setting Personal Boundaries

* Defining what's uncomfortable and advocating for oneself

* Building Trust & Respect

* Strengthening relationships through open dialogue

* Creating a Safe & Supportive Environment

* Fostering family connections

 The facilitator is Christine Buscemi Williams. She has been teaching Boundaries courses for decades and is a Recovery Specialist.
