Do you have a soft spot in your heart for children. I sure do. They’re such precious, curious, fun and 'live in the moment' kind of people. These littles are also oh so vulnerable. So, when they’re placed in difficult and dangerous situations, my Mama Bear comes out.
So, the plight of foster children is something we are shedding light on and sending love to.
Did you know there are roughly 465,000 foster children in the USA alone? With Covid the need has become even stronger.
These children meet with many challenges. Here is what happens to them after age 18.
55% of youth drop out of school
65% become homeless
75% become incarcerated
There’s something we can do. As Love Agents we can let a child know we care with a love note and a Love Box kit. We can provide hope. Will you give a gift of your heart?
What does a foster child need to hear?
1. You are important. You can feel your feelings.
2. You are cared for.
3. You are loved just the way you are.
Every child needs and deserves to grow up safe and protected from abuse and neglect. We can offer children support when they need it most.
